- I've been an IT professional for almost 15 years. I've worked as a grunt, a software designer, and a manager. I find software design most rewarding but I also enjoyed being a manager (or at least the leadership / mentoring aspects) I don't like politics, so I'll never make it higher up in the organization than I already am, but I think I'm very OK with that.
